About the Artist:
“As I paint the patterns over the form and they begin to emerge I imagine the figure turned inside out revealing the spiritual underpinnings. Through painted symbols and the mixing of visual imagery I express my dreams passions fears etc. It is my hope that the imagery will go beyond my own personal themes and resonate in a broader context.”

Her recent show credits include:
Three woman show which she curated at the Roger Smith Gallery, NYC, 2006.
One woman show at Little Gorgeous Things Gallery in Provincetown, Ma. 2006.
One woman show at Columbia Teachers College, 2007
One woman show at the Bodell Fahey Gallery New York City. 2008.

She is presently exhibiting her work through September 5th at the Mattatuck Museum May 2009, in Waterbury Connecticut. This is her first museum show and is a retrospective spanning the last fifteen years with over fifty works on display.

Among her many collectors are Milos Forman (renowned film director), the Rockefeller Foundation, and the Norfolk Library.
